PG Programme in Fashion Technology

The Institute introduces the student to the business side of fashion. The world of opportunities for people with a knack for creating something that’s always in style. This program will teach students about the business and history of fashion—from retailing, marketing, manufacturing, and visual merchandising to consumer behavior, fashion cycles, store planning, and event production.

They also learn the creative side, including color theory, illustration techniques, pattern making and computer designing, to help students understand what makes a good fashion design. Diploma Programme in Fashion Designing

The integrated multi-disciplinary curriculum infuses an in-depth knowledge and learning of design, textiles, surface ornamentation, garment construction, illustration, costumes of the world, marketing, merchandising, quality and information technology. The process of 'inspiration-research-concept-silhouette development-creation' develops design thinking and creative ability by undertaking a series of practical projects on women's wear, kid’s wear, men's wear and Indian wear.

The students study sewing, draping, and patternmaking, as well as drawing, digital and print design. Students' portfolio would include an assortment of traditional 'hands- on' drawings, Computer-Aided Design , directional fashion elements and accessories, surface design swatches, industry – standard specification sheets and final creations .This program is designed to develop a unique sense of style and design aesthetics in line with the latest trends. FASHION DESIGNING
